We really enjoyed our anniversary dinner. Really a storybook ambiance, from outside of building all the way to the seat. Lodge pole cabin style building- greeted with a warm aroma of a wood burning fireplace at the front door and a Montana mountain looking bar on the left, I knew this place was cool. We were sat on the enclosed deck and had the very pleasant and charming Alex as our server. Great cocktails, good food, amazing service, and a great night!

A Memorable Evening at Highlands Supper Club What a wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff was professional, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable, setting the tone for a perfect evening. We started our night at the bar, where the selection of specialty cocktails was not only creative but the perfect way to kick off our evening. Once our guests arrived, we were promptly escorted to our table in the cozy fireplace room — a space I now hope to request every time we return. It was private, yet still offered a great view of the lively energy in the restaurant. Truly the best of both worlds! Our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. We began with the biscuits and whipped butter, which were absolutely mouthwatering — crispy, buttery edges with a soft, melt-in-your-mouth center. They were so good we immediately ordered a second plate for the table! Next, I enjoyed a plate of the most exquisite oysters — fresh, and delicate— leaving me already dreaming about my next visit just to have them again. My salad that followed was crisp, fresh, and beautifully balanced. Every bite of our meal was thoughtfully prepared and flawlessly executed. Highlands is so fortunate to have such a thriving dining scene, and the Highlands Supper Club is an extraordinary addition to the list of world-class restaurants in the area. We cannot wait to return and create more unforgettable memories here. Thank you to the entire team for such a memorable evening — we’ll be back soon!

The HSC definitely exceeded my expectations. Our server was truly the kindest and brought such amazing energy to our experience. I love that this restaurant is inside a historic log cabin -- it truly gives the warmest & coziest vibes. We ordered biscuits, mac n cheese, steak and a caesar salad. All of the food and our drinks were perfect!

The setting couldn't have been more inviting. I mean who doesn't want to eat in an historic old log cabin converted to an upscale casual restaurant in the mountains? Not that that's a guarantee the food will be any good, but there are worse places to start. The thing about this experience was that the food did live up to the surroundings. Every once in awhile you have a meal that lingers in the mind. One that you start missing before you've even eaten your last bite. One that you would travel for. There were signs. Anytime you see heirloom grits on a menu, your antennae should go up. It tells you a lot about the mentality of the place, about their willingness to spend time, money, and effort to produce exceptional food. In this case it was Anson Mills grits. Then when you see it's served with seared elk tenderloin, lashed with demi-glace and supported by a few stalks of seared asparagus you may want to sign up for that program on the spot. We did. The collard greens side dish was garnished with smokey Benton's bacon (another antennae raising favorite) and spiked with a bit of tang and heat. Enough to nudge a taste bud or two. Finally, the mac and cheese was passed around. No complaints here. There wasn't a morsel left on anyone's plate. To say I've talked about that meal several times since returning home would be an understatement. I'm guessing the elk was farm-raised because of its perfect tenderness and mild flavor. Everything on that plate, and I mean everything, was cooked perfectly. Hands down this was my favorite meal of the trip. Could not imagine returning to Highlands and not eating here.

This dinner experience exceeded all expectations. This is one of our favorite dinners of the year. The atmosphere, food, and staff are out of this world. Our server Kyle was kind, genuine, and knowledgeable. Our favorites were the ice box martini, Negroni, and elk. We can’t wait to come back again. A 10/10 experience.

The first thing you notice when entering HSC is the gorgeous old logs and timber that was used to construct the 1930 cabin. The second thing is the fabulous fireplace centered warming the waiting area. Ambiance: check. As for the food, the dishes we tried were excellent. The raw Washington oysters were accompanied with a delicious mignonette, and the crab stuffed deviled eggs with a touch of Benton's bacon disappeared from their dish within 60 seconds. The pork chop and fried chicken were quintessentially southern, and I have no doubt my grandmother would have approved. Food: check. Lastly, our server Teddy was attentive but not overbearing, and made sure our experience at HSC was one to remember. Service: check. HSC is a hiddent gem and well worth a visit. Highly recommended!

Dinner here was memorable, cozy, absolutely delicious, balanced, and filled with so many bites that left us speechless. Those biscuits are talked about daily in our household, we are obsessed with those. I didn’t even get a picture of them because we inhaled them! The entrees we got, the steak and trout, were both perfectly cooked and well balanced. I could tell every ingredient felt so purposeful. The bright flavors of the chimichurri pair soo nicely with the steak. It really brought the whole dish together in my opinion, it was amazing every bite. The peach cobbler was delightful, not too sweet! As foodies we really loved our experience at this restaurant! We would recommend it to anyone who loves comforting meals cooked to perfection, and we just can’t wait to go back soon!

Overall a FABULOUS experience! The atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming. Our server, Teddy, made the meal even better. The biscuits and elk tenderloin were absolutely delicious. And don’t skip out on the peach cobbler for dessert!

We went for Thanksgiving dinner, there first year open we were excited to try the new restaurant. We were greeted immediately with nice warm smiles. While we waited for our table we went to the bar and had our usual martini, the bartender made a great one. The turkey dinner was amazing. The turkey leg had so much flavor and the meat fell off the bone. The white meat was just as juicy. All the sides, green beans, stuffing, mash potatoes and gravy were so spot on. I had 3 servings of each, they were so good. The peacon pie was my favorite of the 3 pies. I loved the log cabin architecture, brought a very warm and cozy vibe to the place. Located on the Trailborn Highlands property I would come here again and again.

Highlands Supper Club is hands down the best meal we’ve had on the Plateau. From the moment we walked in, the wood-burning fireplaces and intimate atmosphere made the whole evening feel cozy and special! We had raw oysters and yummy cocktails to start (so smooth), the elk tenderloin was unbelievably tender, and the GRITS… absolutely life changing. Finished with peach cobbler a la mode and left fully obsessed. The food is simply excellent across the board! Our server Kyle was top tier — attentive, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience seamless. We’ll absolutely be back!
